Conduct on AFIN
AFIN is a working room for filmmakers, writers and performers. Requests and conversations here happen on the festival's site, between members, and the festival reads every report.
A report
A report is a member telling us that a request or a message was abusive, kept coming after a decline, or was not what it claimed to be. It is one tap on the card. It tells us and not the sender, and it is never held against the person who reports.
After three reports
When three members report the same account, that account can no longer send requests or messages until a person at the festival has read the reports. We write to the member when that happens and when it ends.
What is removed
Abusive, threatening or adult content on a page, in a request or in a conversation is removed. It can end a membership, gifted or paid, and the page can come down with it. Any unused part of a paid year is refunded pro rata, unless the breach caused loss to AFIN or to another member.
To appeal
Reply to any email we have sent you or write to afinfestival@gmail.com. A person reads it and answers within a week.
