Radiant cinematography carries this short, from reflections caught in still water to sweeping aerial views of the mountains and the beautiful locations they frame. The journey of a young boy travelling into the highlands with a dog companion unfolds with a heartfelt, richly told sense of place, its production and costume design and glimpses of traditional custom drawing the viewer fully into that way of life. A warm and generous piece of filmmaking that they found genuinely worthy of recognition.
