From the Judges, on LOVE TO GO (2025)

From the Judges, on LOVE TO GO

A tender look at loneliness, aging, and the search for connection in a digital world, this screenplay drew warm admiration from the panel. Gene emerges as a richly developed, emotionally resonant protagonist whose inner thoughts land with real feeling, and his exchanges with Anca offer a subtle, humorous counterpoint that the panel found beautifully paced. Light humour and deeper emotional undercurrents of love, grief, and hope sit together with genuine care in the writing.

Curated, anonymised highlights drawn from the judges' notes.
