Biography

As an award winning filmmaker, and member of the Australian Cinematographers Society, Derek Abel has travelled the World, and worked on all different types of productions; from web based short horror films to feature documentaries for the big screen, on any format; be that television, film, advertising or music. He is always searching for interesting and creative challenges, preferably alongside creative minded people. He has studied film in London, United Kingdom, with a BA in Digital Filmmaking, however he considers that the important lessons that he has learned came from life itself. He aims to work on interesting and creative new projects with people passionate about their work.
