Notes went untouched for long stretches of this one, which says something about how completely it holds an audience. Shot and shaped with real assurance, it is unafraid to sit with the people it follows and the daily realities they face in seeking a better life. Compelling, heartbreaking and genuinely informative, it struck the panel as the kind of documentary that should be made more often.
