The writing and dialogue struck the panel as creative and moving, carrying an emotional story about grief and the loss of home through the shared world of a father and son. They responded to the inventive framing and shot choices, which opened up a wide space for viewing this new world, and to the compelling use of stock footage and a clever backwards montage. It read to them as an important story told with real originality, one the panel felt deserves to be shared widely.
