Biography

Jade Chase is a first-time documentary film director/producer based in Boise, Idaho. The enormous power of storytelling led him to found 18Ninety Productions (www.18ninety.com), an award-winning team of filmmakers and advertisers. He began dabbling in documentary film making after traveling to Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2017, where he was introduced to the stories of Vietnamese nationals who were born during and after the Vietnam War. A veteran of the United States Air Force and a history buff, Jade was interested to learn what happened in Vietnam after the United States left Saigon in 1975. Additionally, Jade's interests involve highlighting cultural changes in populations and learning how, and why, generations communicate stories.
