Is this you, James?
AFIN keeps this page for you. If your work has been recognised here there may be a membership waiting that we have had no way to deliver, because the address we hold belongs to whoever entered the film rather than to you.
This does not sign you in and does not change this page. It asks AFIN to check, and we write to you.

Festival note
The Impossible DecisionBest Australian Lead Performance
James Coogan brought an authenticity to screen in his role, in a film which demanded nothing less than vulnerability.

From the Judges, on The Impossible Decision
A great deal lands in a very short space here. The panel responded to grounded, natural work from both leads and to a mother's performance whose pacing, spontaneity and physicality make every line believable. Moody, atmospheric camerawork and a steady, unhurried rhythm carry a story told with care, respect and real empathy, leaving something thoughtful and genuinely eye-opening behind.
