James, a dynamic freelance cinematographer hailing from Brisbane Strathpine, Queensland, immerses himself in the vibrant world of visual storytelling. Specializing in corporate videography for various organizations, he also lends his creative talents to crafting captivating short films, TV commercials, and engaging web content.
With a versatile skill set that spans across roles such as Director of Photography, Director, and Producer, James is no stranger to the diverse demands of the industry. Yet, his journey extends beyond traditional roles, as he effortlessly transitions into low-budget sound recording, writing, lighting as a gaffer, and the intricate art of editing.
Driven by a deep-seated desire to make a meaningful impact through his craft, James finds his calling in the realm of documentary filmmaking for social change. As he merges his passion for storytelling with a purpose-driven approach, James embarks on a mission to shed light on pressing issues and inspire positive transformation through the lens of his camera.

Beautifully shot from the ground up, this short reaches its high point in sweeping overhead drone footage of the farms that plays as genuinely breathtaking. The direction gathers many voices and perspectives into a clear structure, letting the farmers' accounts build into a portrait of the crisis they face. Short, to the point, and warm in its purpose, it carries an important story and a strong message that the panel felt deserved to be shared widely.
