An inventive animated reworking of Dante's Inferno, this short builds its underworld from complex, colourful textures that carry through to richly imagined costume and production design. The panel found much to linger over in every frame, and admired sound design that lends weight to the character's memories, all of it rendered with real care by the team. A vivid, exciting piece of visual and auditory craft.
