Romain has been working as a film and commercial editor for over 15 years in Australia and France. He also runs a video production in Sydney, Australia.

From the Judges, on KING OF THE MOUNTAINS
The cinematography draws you straight in, mixing sweeping drone and colour work with first-person POV and candid, self-shot footage into an immersive whole. The panel loved how it balanced the central figure with the support crew around them, capturing the highs, the lows, the laughter and the pain of what the pursuit really involves. Well structured and paced across its themes of friendship and perseverance, with the diary entries and poems giving it a genuinely inspiring human core.
