From the Judges, on AN EXTRAORDINARY PLACE

A portrait of a community radio station and the people who built their lives around it, this short gathers heartfelt recollections from voices across many cultures and backgrounds. The panel responded warmly to its soundtrack and to the inventive ways music carries messages out to a community, with classic tracks threaded through the storytelling. Its interview structure holds attention throughout, and it struck them as a fond look at a world of radio waves and physical media.

Curated, anonymised highlights drawn from the judges' notes.
