From the Judges, on THE RED ZONE

What drew the panel here was the concept itself: a sports drama threaded through with conspiracy and sci-fi in a blend that feels genuinely fresh. The world-building unfolds in layers, letting the mystery deepen at its own pace, and the characters land as distinct people whose central relationship carries real emotional weight. Sharp, witty dialogue holds the balance between tension and character, and the whole thing keeps a voice of its own throughout.

Curated, anonymised highlights drawn from the judges' notes.
