A tender and funny story of two people bound together across a long stretch of years, told with the texture of a true documentary. The panel found real emotional weight in the lead and supporting performances, with direction that lets the warmth and the humour land together. Costume, makeup and production design fill out a world that feels genuinely lived in, and the writing keeps it witty and true to its characters.
