Direction here is sensitive and assured, thinking through the emotional life of both leads so carefully that the audience feels everything alongside them, and the writing is kind and quietly provocative in the space the two of them share. The world around them is built with real care, and the sound design holds its own subtle moments that drew genuine admiration from the panel.
