Synopsis
After the death of their cultist's mother, two women begin to experience supernatural events and are forced to fight for their souls.
Writer's Statement
Thank you for accepting my screenplay into this festival, I hope you everyone enjoys reading it. This is a short film based on a feature idea that I have so, I guess you can say it's an experiment to see how things go, and I hope to have this in production shortly. I came up with the idea when I asked myself, "what will happen if you dobbed in a blood relative/s about their cultist past and eventually evolved into, two women being haunted by their recently dead mother. The script was originally called "The Spirits" until I changed it to Quttour Spiritus which is Latin for four spirits. I really hope you all enjoy the script, and thanks again for the selection.

Writer's Biography
Darren Marshall Writer
Darren is an actor/filmmaker and writer currently based on the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia. Born In Brisbane in 1993, he was born into a family of six sisters with no brothers. Growing up he was most often bullied at school for his Intellectual disability and speech difficulties, he also received special help from his school's SEU department however to his annoyance. At age sixteen originally inspiring to be a race-driver he started acting when he asked his parents to enroll him into Brightstars Performing Arts Academy where he discovered his passion for performing arts, upon finishing his year course he had planned to take it further until personal issues blocked his path. After a few years in absent from acting he then decided to enroll in the New York Film Academy one year acting in 2015 and graduating with a diploma of screen and media in 2016, later that year he went back as a filmmaker by doing the one year filmmaking where he had impressed his teacher with his work, during this time as a student filmmaker, Darren also discovered his passion for writing and has now written total of three features including a no-budget feature currently in the works and five shorts all as non student projects, he again graduated in middle of 2017 with another diploma of screen and media. In Late 2017, Darren won his first award; winning the gold award for best student film at the L.A short awards in Los Angeles for his short film Memories. Shortly after, Memories won again; winning the Platinum award for best student film in Hollywood. In early 2018 Memories was distributed by Ento Live T.V a small streaming service based in the U.K Now he has a goal to prove not only to his peers but also to the world, that it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from if you work hard and keep going no matter how hard it gets you'll get where you want to be.
