From the Judges
From the Judges
The photography moves between sublime spectacle and the ordinary world with a control that feels quietly assured, and the panel found the editing let the story unfold without leaning on dialogue to explain itself. They responded to its naturalism and sensitivity, and to a compelling central performance that anchors a dark, powerful story. A striking, resonant short whose craft holds together across the whole runtime.
Director's Biography
