Synopsis

When an unstable teenage girl acquires superpowers she begins a rampage of destruction as a social media-obsessed supervillain

Writer's Biography

DS Dustin Schmidt Writer

Dustin Schmidt graduated from USQ with First Class Honours in 2016, completing a Bachelor of Applied Media with a focus on screenwriting. In 2019, he won the AFIN International Film Festival's Best Original Screenplay award for his script 'The Last of the Pretty Boys'. In early 2021 he completed production of 'The Last of the Pretty Boys', marking his feature film debut. Throughout post production he's continued to film music videos for Brisbane artists such as Danny WX, Broken Leg, Punktilious and Unsound Advice. He's also been working on Vessels, a short horror film, as well as the documentary project I Would Be Dead Without This School: The Music Industry College Story. When he's not writing he serves as the frontman and guitarist for Australian alternative rock band Northern Lights.
