Synopsis

A group of students and teachers from The Delhi College of Linguistics hit the road to discover Australia and gain first-hand experience of its authentic language and culture. When their plane is diverted to the country town of Dubbo due to storms, and their tour-leader is detained by customs, the hapless bunch unearth the ‘real’ Australia while never making it to Sydney, Melbourne...or even Brisbane.

Director's Biography

Tony Rogers Director

Tony Rogers is the co-creator and director of the beloved ‘Wilfred” series for SBS, now a hit series in the US. His award winning signature style is comedic realism and high concepts, utilizing brilliant casting for stellar performances. His first foray into feature film was the highly acclaimed RATS AND CATS, a quirky but realistic look into the lives of an unexpected group of Aussies passing time in the fictitious coastal town of Gladdington. His comedy web series HOW TO TALK AUSTRALIANS (2014) has been a viral sensation, attracting international acclaim and sparking heated debate. This has opened the audience to his current feature film where the Indian Linguistics students take a tour to Australia.... a comical adventure ready to hit screens in India and worldwide.
