From the Judges, on VIRTUOSO
The score drew warm praise from the panel, described as beautiful and creative, complementing the connection between the two leads as the story shifts perspectives between a mother and son. They found the lead performances subtle and believable, understated in a way that never overplays the film's themes of starting over and following a dream. The smoother pacing, the blocking that reflects the characters' states of mind, and the gorgeous shot choices left them with a heartfelt piece of filmmaking.
