Biography
Anna is a passionate 22 year old filmmaker. At film school she is specialising in writing and directing genre films. Prior to the post-apocalyptic drama 'Beacon', she wrote and directed the short zombie film 'Remains'. Remains’ script was honoured with the National Council of Women in QLD Creative Industries Bursary, and the final film went on to see success at festivals across America, Australia and Europe. Lately she has also been involved in creating videography content for social enterprises, including the Endeaour Foundation, HopeBox Vietnam and Binna Burra Lodge. In 2022, with the support of the prestigious New Colombo Plan Scholarship, she will travel to Japan and South Korea to complete internships and research her Honours screenwriting project. Though currently trying to absorb as much as possible about all the different skills required to make a great film, she aspires to end up as a writer/director.
