Biography

Anthony Littlechild is a Melbourne based multi award winning Cinematographer and Producer, including ARIA, ACS awards and multiple Australian Academy nominations. He has worked with some of the world’s biggest talent, artists and brands.

His first taste of the industry was in 1992 at 2 years old, acting in an episode of Blue Heelers. Since then Anthony would go on appearing in many other Television shows, commercials and films. Over the years his love for cinematography and filmmaking grew and it was only a matter of time till he shot his first film at the age of 16.

Over the years Anthony has traveled the world from Iceland to Morocco. Filming for companies such as NIKE, Lululemon, NFL, Champion, UBER, Sony Music, Universal Records, Electra Records. Films and TV shows with worldwide releases including LA Lakers, Time Warner Cable, Photo Number 6, AACTA nominated productions ‘Hatchback’ starring Stephen Curry and ‘Till You Make It’ Comedy Series directed by Scott Major and ARIA winning music video ‘Dancing2’ for Keli Holiday.

The performances hold it grounded, and the pacing is brisk enough that nothing is wasted. Colour grade, cinematography and editing all pull in the same direction, giving a short runtime genuine impact.

A tense, tightly wound piece that holds you inside a single charged encounter and keeps the pressure building. Intense, creative writing anchors it, brought to life by smooth camera movements and blocking and framing that quietly map the shifting power between the characters. The panel found the craft assured throughout, from the production design to the score and sound design, with performances that felt professional and believable.
