From the Judges, on Something Pointless
A gentle, emotionally resonant drama that finds real meaning in simplicity, this short unfolds through restrained, deeply human performances and unhurried, thoughtful direction. The cinematography carries a soft, nostalgic warmth, and the interwoven storylines build a quiet study of connection, legacy, and purpose in seemingly small actions.
