Biography
Jayden Creighton is a 31 year old filmmaker, based in Australia. In 2013, he completed a Bachelor of Film Production at the SAE Institute, Byron Bay. During his studies, he honed a lifelong passion for video production, taking that first step toward his dream. With a niche for writing, directing and editing, he commenced work on a number of short films and a web series, using the experience to refine his creative style and grow as a filmmaker. In 2019, he released his short horror film 'Trespassers', which accumulated numerous festival wins, and picked up an impressive 1.1 million views online. In 2021, he released his sophomore effort 'Kinks', which surpassed 'Trespassers' with 2.4 million views and a few festival nods. In 2022, Jayden entered the Monster Pictures Pitch Initiative with his concept trailer for a proposed feature film 'The Matriarch', and became a top 20 finalist. While it didn't win, it did give him the confidence that the project had potential, and he began developing it into his feature film directorial debut. In 2024, Jayden will begin work on the feature length adaptation of his short film 'Trespassers'.
