From the Judges, on BIRD DRONE
A wordless animated short about the unlikely bond between a bird and a piece of modern technology, this film blends whimsy and warmth with a confident command of tone. The panel found its animation style beautifully suited to the story, grounding a tender fantasy in a recognisable world, and loved how surely it carried the audience between comedy and genuine feeling while keeping its rhythm sure-footed throughout.
