Director's Statement
From a small town in rural England, I’ve been lucky to cultivate a group of exceptionally talented artists within the local area. Collaborating along-side my best friends, the production of Scarlet Storm has featured a plethora of talent from across the globe including Composer, Luna Pan from Australia. Additionally, we’ve shot across the country, notably in Bristol, Cornwall and Cirencester. In summer 2018, Scarlet Storm was a feature prospect and despite the ashes of an unsuccessful Kickstarter (raising 38% of the £50K target), we decided to come together and formulate our short with nothing but ‘hard work and handshakes’. The lack of financing was a humbling experience that only enforced our desire that the film come from a place of sincerity.
