From the Judges
A disaster story about a family seeking refuge in the fallout, this short builds a world of genuine epic scale, and the panel found the craft behind it thoroughly cinematic. The pacing sits comfortably with the length and structure of the story, and the design work sells the scope of what is unfolding on screen. It struck them as engaging the whole way through, with the bond at the film's centre landing with real emotion.
