Synopsis

Angie Goodwin, 17, along with her best friend Sarah and her boyfriend Andre, go through a horrific car crash. Sarah and Andre survive, but Angie disappears. As the entire town searches for her, Angie decides to fulfill her fantasy of becoming a Superhero and embarks on a mysterious journey...

Featuring an award winning cast with Bruce Davison, Joanna Cassidy, and Taylor Cole, My True Fairytale is shot in a visually smooth and continuous style of cinema which brings out the melody of the humor, sadness and hope of the story.

Leaving a successful business career, D. Mitry launched into his dream of filmmaking in 2015. In 2016, his second short, “Shade of Music” won numerous festivals and was acquired by the North-West PBS where it ran successfully from 2016 through 2018.
