Synopsis
The Phae (pron. fay) , is an adult drama with mature themes and supernatural undertones. The show is inspired by the symbolic characteristics of nymphs from Ancient Greek Mythology - minor female deities and spirits that protect and influence nature.
The Phae hide in the shadows, they thrive there, but not all places that are hidden are shrouded in darkness. Set with the backdrop of modern cities and impressive natural landscapes, Grace stumbles into the middle of a civil war where she is unknowingly the key to turn the tides.
Hidden as an infant, Grace discovers her role in the hunt for an ancient power. A misguided prophecy calls for her bloodshed, but she quickly learns that all stories get twisted. Drawn into a society with a history of dark intentions, Grace must navigate through factions of the Phae without being discovered. Working with people who value autonomy, Grace finds herself battling scrutiny, expectations, and fate.
Confronted by violence, magic, ruthless behaviour, warped glory, love, secrets, and murder, it's a dangerous road, but Grace feels compelled to figure out how she fits in this world. In this society filled with powerful women and competing doctrines, every decision matters and every second counts.
Grace has to put her faith somewhere in a game of misinformation and myths. She is faced with truly unbelievable things, but context is everything, and a mind that is filled with conclusions has no room for expansion...So why not believe? Why not write her own story and determine her own fate?
