Synopsis
"Dive" is a coming-of-age drama that follows a young competitive swimmer named Paula, who is trained by her father Troy. Despite her dedication and hard work, Paula's results don't meet her father's high standards. Meanwhile, Troy struggles with financial problems and the possibility of losing their home. As the national swimming competition approaches, tensions rise between father and daughter, and Paula begins to question her passion for the sport. The story explores the complex relationship between a father and daughter and the pressures of chasing success.

I have never been so passionate in my life about any project and after a long journey with this I don't think our team could have done a better job!!!

Tyler Stanley Redmond Director
Tyler's journey into the world of filmmaking began at a young age, sparked by the simple joy of home videos. Over the years, this initial fascination blossomed into a passion for cinema that would shape his future endeavors. At just 14, Tyler achieved a significant milestone when his first official short film was selected for a local film festival. This early success served as a catalyst, inspiring him to explore the limitless possibilities of filmmaking. By age 15, Tyler embarked on his most ambitious project yet with "Rise Up," a film that tackled the important issue of anti-bullying. With a cast and crew of approximately 300 people, Tyler demonstrated his ability to lead and collaborate on a large scale. Following the success of "Rise Up," Tyler founded Collaborative Kiwi Studios at 16, Through this venture, he showcased his versatility, producing a variety of videos ranging from brand content to wedding films and music videos that same year he crewed on his first feature In 2023, Tyler experienced a breakthrough year. The film he was Director Of Photography on was screened at the prestigious New Zealand International Film Festival (NZIFF), marking a significant achievement in his career. Additionally, his nomination for Universal Music's Best Music Video at the NZ Youth Film Festival (NZYFF) highlighted his creative talents and diversity as a filmmaker as well this Tyler raised 30k along with his Producer Ruth Gill to make Dive a short film as a proof of concept for a feature which will being the festival circuit in 2024 and has peaked the interest of the national film Community Looking ahead, Tyler's ambitions remain focused. He aims to immerse himself fully in the film industry, pursuing a career as a cinematographer while setting his sights on directing his first feature film within the next three years. Tyler's journey is a testament to his passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the art of filmmaking.
