Biography
Ana returned to acting later in life and has studied extensively at TAFTA, 16th Street and more recently Howard Fine Acting Studio. Ana has worked professionally as an actor for over 18 years, with guest roles on TV in shows such as Murder Calls, Neighbours, DR Blake and Offspring. She has starred in many award- winning short films, web series and Feature Films. She has also starred in main and supporting roles in independent theatre, to great reviews as well as being nominated Best Actress twice and winning Best Support Actress.
In recent years, Ana has also turned her had to writing and producing. In 2019, she wrote, produced and starred in a comedy web series called “Oz Linked” also edited by Les Zig, which follows the life of workers and customers of a make believe ‘social security office” set in Melbourne. Oz Linked has won various awards on the Festival Circuit, including Best Comedy, Best Web Series, Outstanding Achievement, Best Actress, Best Ensemble, and Best Acting Duo.
Ana won Best Pilot Script Jan 2022 for “Inseparable". She also won Best Supporting Actress for her role as “Posy” in Sprouting Wings at CAT Summer Play Readings.
Ana has producing and starred in a comedy feature film called 'Hot Flush'. Written by Tom Conyers, Based on an original story she wrote. "Divorced, middle aged and penniless. They're just getting started" is the tag line for this hilarious film. It’s currently completed and in discussions with distribution.
Ana is also a qualified Psychologist and is multi-lingual, speaking fluent Portuguese and good Italian.
Ana recently turned her hand to the ‘Horror’ genre in “Heritage” a psychological thriller which is currently in Post-Production, written and directed by Les Zig. Ana plays "Sara" alongside Scott Major as "Adam".
At the recent film festival in Brisbane AFIN, a short film Ana produced and starred in called “Rotate” won Best Australian Micro Film. Written by and starring her partner Greg Pandelidis.

The speed-dating format gives this short its engine, each rotating encounter sharpening the comedy while a quieter sense of loneliness builds underneath. Vibrant, clean cinematography and inventive editing keep the structure moving, and the sequences that blur reality and imagination add a welcome layer of depth. The panel found real pleasure in how confidently the concept is executed across such a compact running time.
