Synopsis

A middle-aged romantic tries to find the love of his life at a speed-dating night, but his dreams are no match for his fears.

Director's Statement

Rotate is a character-driven comedy set during a speed-dating night, following Ernest as he projects hope and fantasy onto a series of brief encounters. As the dates rotate, the humour gradually gives way to something more revealing, a portrait of romantic self-delusion and modern loneliness. By blurring the line between reality and imagination, the film builds toward a final moment that reframes Ernest’s optimism in an unexpected way.
