Biography

Blair Moore has been in the Entertainment Industry since 1988, with over 15 years as a profession Promoter for Live Entertainment events including professional fights, bands and extreme sports that have live broadcast throughout Southeast Asia. Blair’s earlier career was in profession fighting. Within the field of Boxing, Kickboxing and Thai boxing, he trained and competed since the age of 10 to an international standard, with professional fights in Thailand and USA. In 1988 Blair started training profession fighters to the level of National, International and World Champions in Thai Boxing. Within 3 years of Promoting, Blair had commenced large International Thai Boxing Championships held at, the now, Star Casino on Gold Coast. Blair has been writing since mid 90’s but sold his first script in 1995 called Button Man, which is a Ganster/Thriller Feature Film. He was then approached to write a Network Series, but had to turn it down. Unfortunately, as Blair was building his writing career, everything was put on hold as his wife at the time became sick with Cancer and Blair had to sell his businesses and property to then look after her and his kids for around 6 years. After Blair’s wife lost her battle with Cancer, Blair returned to writing and started Producing short films, corporate videos, commercials and music videos, as well as started to build his network in the US Entertainment Industry. Blair has written numerous scripts, some of which are at various stages of production, but Kane is now his debut as a Feature Film Director.

From the Judges, on KANE

A crime story told with a psychological charge, this feature drew admiration for the tension it builds and the confident direction behind it. The panel responded to the production values on screen, from costume and location work to the camera and editing, and to the sound and soundtrack carrying it all. Natural, authentic writing and a cast of vivid characters made it a stylish and enjoyable watch.
