A crime story told with a psychological charge, this feature drew admiration for the tension it builds and the confident direction behind it. The panel responded to the production values on screen, from costume and location work to the camera and editing, and to the sound and soundtrack carrying it all. Natural, authentic writing and a cast of vivid characters made it a stylish and enjoyable watch.
