Biography

On his journey through and after the completion of film school, Rhys has worked throughout broadcast at the ABC and Channel NINE, at multiple production houses, and on multiple productions. His true passion is in narrative and creative content as a Director and Cinematographer, with recent screenings at Flickerfest and St Kilda, as well as numerous commercial projects and productions. He's also received several awards for his Directing with awards at the Indie Shorts Awards - New York, and the Venice Shorts film festival for his Psychological Thriller, 'Pseudomonas'. He's also recently produced an award winning Amy Shark Music Video, as well as a Blasterjaxx Music Video that reached over 1M views. Rhys considers himself a chameleon of the creative industry. Most recently he's been an Executive Producer, and 2nd Unit Director on the upcoming feature, 'Wyrmwood: Apocalypse', releasing in cinemas Feb 2022, as well as another feature currently in post, "After She Died' as the Cinematographer.
