A Conversation

Synopsis

Lara has only recently been in contact with her mother, Jane, after years of estrangement. When she learns she is pregnant, Lara makes a decision which results in a difficult conversation between the two.

Director's Biography

Molly Haddon Director

Molly Haddon is a Sydney based director who has a passion for communication through storytelling. In her teens she worked as a professional actor in the Sydney theatre scene and then went on to study film at Macquarie University. There she fell into cinematography and later completed the Graduate Certificate: Cinematography, at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS). After completing this she decided to combine her cinematography and acting backgrounds and move into directing. Molly’s main drive for filmmaking is to tell stories which challenge the audience’s perspective on the world or to help strive for change. Her credits include: Outside Thoughts (2018), Hairball (2018), A Conversation (2019) and A Moment (2019).
