Synopsis

A teenage boy trying to help his poverty-stricken family ends up in prison where he forms an unlikely bond with a reformed gangster. Based on a true story of family, faith and redemption of a troubled young man, Pong, from an impoverished family in Northern Thailand. It is the all too common story of a cycle of poverty and addiction that’s passed down from father to son. We follow the journey of Pong who, through the compassion of a former addict and gangster, Pat, and the introduction to a power beyond himself, breaks the cycle and embarks on a life of freedom. Filmed in Northern Thailand.
