A Bee and a Silkworm

Synopsis

Dong-ho, a botanist, fell in love with the beauty of wildflowers he once saw on Mount Baekdu. And even after his retirement, he makes seed bombs and throw them from place to place to spread wildflowers. In addition, he built a greenhouse to restore endangered alpine wildflowers and has been taking care of them for 10 years Then one day, a neighbor girl named Bom gets stung by a bee he secretly raises. Bom's mother calls the police. She visits Dongho's house to remove the bees with the police and 911 members. However, Dong-ho says that he does not raise bees, but rather raises his voice that if the bees disappear, humanity will also die out. Dong-ho thinks the bee fuss is over, but Bom visits his house again. She raises silkworms for work-study but runs out of mulberry leaves. She goes there to look for some.

Dong-ho feels familiar with Bom, who is not afraid of bees. Dongho helps Bom find mulberry leaves and makes friends with her making seed bombs in the greenhouse.

Then one day, she leaves only a silkworm kit and goes away. Dong-ho waits for a few days and goes to meet Ms.Kim, Bom's teacher. In the classroom, he hears Bom's story. Bom and her mother, Su-yeon, escaped from her dad's violence. But he found their hideout and they are sheltering in a jjimjilbang.

Dong-ho meets Soo-yeon and persuades her to report her husband to the police and to send Bom back to school. However, Soo-yeon has something to finish, so she asks Dong-ho to take care of Bom until the end of the work. After hearing their story, Dong-ho thinks what judgment could be the wisest. But when he hears Bom's new plan, he makes an important decision
